If you’re ever in Sedona, Arizona, there’s a place in the Oak Creek Canyon where Navajo artisans sell their turquoise jewelry directly. Not only are their pieces exquisite, but they’re handmade and the stones come primarily from AZ mines, and Sleeping Beauty turquoise is among the most prized, now the mine is closed. Every time I visit my mom I have to stop by this place; I love wearing turquoise year-round, but especially in the summer.
Love RD! And your pics. On a turquoise hunt!
