The events of Spring seemingly pop out of nowhere - Baby shower! School gala! Like a game of fashion whack-a-mole, today we’re knocking these out with ready made outfits, so you’re not left the day before asking yourself “Is this a pants thing?” Because Nordstrom is truly a one-stop-shop, they make it wildly easy to cover all the bases for spring looks, and so many things I added to today’s letter are on major sale. Thrilling! Let’s get right into it…
School Gala:
Here’s hoping the planning committee shows you some mercy with an ambiguous theme like ‘Under the Stars’ and aren’t intentionally taking you out at the knees with something like ‘Ahoy Matey, All Aboard’. Assuming the former, you can wear something elegant and fun:
Lunch date/work/pickup:
These are some of my favorite Spring pieces that work overtime. The cropped jeans will take you through summer (pair them with a sandal) and the bag will be your new schlepper. I wrote about this Madewell bag in a previous letter and the quality and price are excellent.
Graduation/Shower:
You need to look chic, but also appropriate. Throw this cute white cardi over your shoulders for some added dimension, and know that these Toteme sandals will be your go-to all summer long.
Date night:
Dare I say YOU’VE EARNED IT. My favorite for date night, or girl’s night out has, and probably always will be, a going out top and high waisted jeans - it never gets old and always looks good.
