Trench Coats

Rain or shine it’s trench coats for everyone here in Paris, but of course the magic comes from styling. So here’s how to style your trench. You’ll be ready the minute the temp drops.

Layering:

10/10 for the following styling/layering technique I spotted in the streets:

layer 1: gold button cardigan

layer 2: mini cropped trench

layer 3: bigger, longer plaid coat

misc: gold chain necklace, gold sunglasses, red ballet flats

Pair with minimalist black pants - I’m currently wearing these from AYR and love these from Donni (they’re in my suitcase!)

Top it off with this Jcrew Herringbone coat for an extra warm layer

More layering: I wore this Frame denim shirt under a Rohe trench with the sleeves scrunched so the denim comes through. JF hoops and Paris64 bag. My trench is sold out but I love this from Tuckernuck, and this from Mango

With the humidity from the rain it’s been a slick bun day every day. I use this parting comb to get the center part straight, and this delicious smelling Tancho hair stick that keeps everything in place ($8!) hair ties are from Kitsch

I have incredibly dry skin especially after flying so I’ve been using this moisturizing stick from Hanni (it’s a moisturizer in stick form - great for travel because it won’t spill or leak) code is ABBY20. Extreme Cream always for AM and PM (I remove the glass bottle part for travel) code SKIN20
