Summer is a wild, uniquely difficult time for moms. I’ve been on ‘the struggle bus’ for the last few weeks, and we’re gonna talk about it.
Summer doesn’t provide the structure moms need to get things done, so every day is uniquely hard. My kids are at camp but the hours are short, they don’t always want to go, and I’m constantly wondering if I’ll have enough hours to get my work done. Then there’s the guilt! And the gnawing feeling that time is passing quickly.
So what’s a mom to do? Ask for help. That’s always the answer. So I reached out to some of my mom friends and favorite writers, and asked them for their tips. Just reaching out to them made me feel comforted, and I think you’ll love what they had to say:
