Tried and true swimwear and other summer favorites

Welcome back to the party and happy summer! The season is officially well underway, and may I offer my support to the other moms out there - the summer scramble is real. But between my chauffeuring gigs, I’ve had some great styling moments this week, including my beloved client appearing as a guest judge on one of my favorite fashion reality shows. I’ll share more when I can, but let’s just say when you love a client’s dress so much and they look so beautiful, and THEY love their dress and feel good, it’s actually the best thing in the world.

SO, we’re kicking this off with warm feelings today because we’re talking about bathing suits. However, you should know that you have nothing to fear because we’re fortunately living in a golden age of swimwear. Let’s get into it!

When I say ‘Golden Age of Swimwear’, I mean there’s really something available for every body and every taste. So let’s start with the Hunza G. This single size suit leads the way. I can’t explain the sorcery of this fabric, but when they say that it fits a size 2-12 comfortably, it is THE TRUTH.

When it comes to finding your fit, here are my tips:

1. Order a few sizes and plan on returning. Such is the world we live in.

2. Try on your suits in the morning when you’re least likely to feel full or bloated.

3. Can’t tone it? Tan it. I get a spray tan for my mental health and try to keep it up in the summer because I feel better with color on my skin, and I definitely prefer seeing myself in swimwear if I have a tan.
