It’s that funny in-between time of short days and no routine. Yikes! In lieu of that structure, I take this time to write goals and letters to myself. I’ve learned to love this ritual, and without it, the ball never rolls. I encourage you to try it if you don’t already have a method in place - It starts with the VBP (very big pad):

How this goes down:
Page 1: List everything I’m proud of that happened this year. It’s the pump up. You can do so much in a year.
Page 2: I write a letter to myself, POV this time next year in GREAT DETAIL. I cover all the important categories - family, relationships, work. Part visualization, part manifestation? There’s magic in writing things down. If you need further convincing, Matthew McConaughey will explain it to you:
Page 3: Break it down. There are many ways to do this (this guy and his giant calendar have always fascinated me) but really, it all works!
In 2025 I am… “an effortless hostess”
I’ve been gathering recipes I plan to make in the new year (send me your recommendations if you have any! skill level: zero) In the meantime I’m making some aesthetic kitchen upgrades:

Everything else I’m doing this week:
Made some closet upgrades and put up these motion sensor lights in the poorly lit corners. Life changing!
Perused the Donni sale - it includes my beloved stretchy kick flares
New year, new makeup - In my efforts to avoid a pasty “January Face” I got this bronzing stick, this highlighter, and these highly touted 11Skin face masks
Obsessed over this article about Orcas that wear dead salmon on their heads as “Salmon hats”. Fashion is, indeed, life.
Happy New Year my beautiful fashion friends - I am grateful every single day to be on this journey with you.
